KonSequenz Music Project

The KoMP (KonSequenz Music Project) was set up by members of the Ferenc Liszt regional association as a companion project to the musical journal Konsequenz.
The KoMP is a project for the diffusion of border music conceived by Girolamo De Simone and Eugenio Fels to promote the activities of the best Italian musicians and composers, and create a homogeneous organization for the study, production, and distribution of their music.

The KoMP is engaged in the following activities:

• It edits a section lending a voice to the musicians themselves in the contemporary music journal Konsequenz, published by the Editore Liguori

• It produces compact discs, the first one being a collection of unpublished pieces by some of the best known Italian "border music" composers and performers

• It promotes an important annual review of border music

• It collaborates with musical workshops in schools

• It edits the Archive of Contemporary Music on its web-site, Konsequenz
